Wordless Wednesday- Snow Fort

Mei and Duncan (well mostly Mei) used our movie theater popcorn bucket to build a snow fort last night. We needed photos, because this may be the one time in their childhoods when we have enough snow to do such a thing.

Their fort had snow bucket pyramids on 3 sides.

Mei was pretty pleased with her work.

Grayson holds my aunt's little yorkie, Dolly, who looks like a little stuffed dog. She is so cute with her little chocolate chip nose.

Yeah, I know these photos were in my week in review, but I posted that so late and these photos are some of my favorites from this fall, so I posted them again.

Why is my passport in here? That is being put upstairs now.

Oh dear- where is my little bag of Neosporin spray and band-aids? I had it at the park on Sunday. I also don't see my suglasses that I had at the park on Sunday. hmm, maybe they are in dh's vehicle.

It is also common for me to have a gameboy and/or a book, but my keys and phone do not stay inside my purse.

Wordless Wednesday- Trivia

This week I painted my toes blue, because I thought my little guy would like them. I thought wrong. He informed me that they were "a little too Halloween town" for him and that he likes my toes pink!

One of the Indian ladies at Kumon brought in a henna cone and was kind enough to put a little vine on my hand while I taught in the junior room. I like it, but I never knew that, when it is applied, wet henna smells bad. I guess I never thought about it.

Oh, and Happy Autumn! I hope it cools off soon!

Angry Man with Blue Hands and Glow-in-the-dark Monster Teeth

In addition to her work this is what every Kumon student should bring to the center. LOL! I have a beautiful 4yo Indian girl that comes to Kumon who is a laugh riot. This is what she brought to show me on Monday. She is so animated. Her demonstration of the glow-in-the-dark monster teeth made my evening.

Duncan and I studied the Christian Church in the Middle Ages last week, so we made gargoyles. This activity is in How to Teach Art to Children. I love to play with clay!

His dad is tossing him in the air and is just to the right out of the shot. Grayson really wasn't very high. It just looks that way, because I was flat on my back on the ground. The photo was taken with an old point-and-shoot camera back in 1995.
